Hearing Concern Magazine
Computer training at homeUnderstanding the very real benefits the internet has to offer, and knowing the difficulties many hard-of-hearing people face in college classrooms, the charity U Can Do I.T has developed in-home computer training at an affordable price.
The service is limited to Greater London residents at present. You would need an internet-ready computer, but if you don’t have one and want to learn how to e-mail and surf the web, the charity can put you in touch with low-cost suppliers.
Trainers are carefully selected and are all closely vetted. They teach on a one-to-one basis, proving ten lessons form as little as £1 for a 1 to 2 hour sessions, with age no barrier.
