Special thanks to student Lesley McCall who is helping spread the word about U Can Do IT. She recently contacted her local MP, Tom Brake, to let him know about the course she was taking with us. She also invited him to attend one of her lessons, which he kindly accepted and on the 13th September he sat in on her 5th lesson. We held a Trustee meeting on 12 September and elected a new Trustee (Mary Payne) to the Board.
We had planned to hold a tutor seminar in September but unfortunately the date we had arranged conflicted with the 3 day tube strike! We have had to postpone it until October.
