Outreach work in January 2004 centred on persuading the remaining Remploy factories, based in London to use U Can Do I.T."s services for basic computer and internet training. During the last part of 2003, we secured students from Leatherhead, Acton and Islington, now it was the turn of Barking, Brixton and Woolwich. Chris signed up 20 students from Barking, and is expecting a number from the other two.Chris has also been working on finding students to fulfil our obligations to Learning & Skills Council South, who have given us a contract and funding to train students in Croydon, Bromley, Merton, Sutton, Richmond and Kingston The year long contract started in October 2003.
