The Trustees met on Wednesday 3rd September , where the Chairman summarised a number of initiatives, including the setting up of a Graduate Policy Forum , as part of a consultation exercise, to discuss ways of improving our courses, and ideas for the future. He also outlined a Quality Assurance process using Pqasso, which indicates several levels of competence, and said that U Can Do I.T. had already reached level 3 in Financial control. He also outlined a new focus on trying to help students secure employment, and pointed out that in addition to volunteer work for the organisation, that other employment training opportunities existed through Partnerships we have established with Emloyment Opportunities and Leonard Cheshire.Our Fundraiser Chris Frederick has been busy filling in application forms for the London Boroughs of Hackney, Croydon, and Harrow. He has also been trying to set up partnership agreements with Bethnal Green Training, Lewisham Community Education and others
