Week commencing 9th June
Meetings were held with Westminster Youth Services, to discuss the current position of the AQA Unit Award Scheme. Of the four areas covered by U Can Do I.T., use of the world wide web is completed and validated, Unit 3 of use of e-mail has still to be validated, together with all 3 units of use of chatrooms and newsgroups. One final unit covering chatrooms has still to be drafted. How this can be used, and outreach coverage of Youth centres is subject to a further meeting in July.We also met with The Princes Trust to discuss further collaboration and referrals. The week ended with attendance of the Camden New Journal Careers and employment Fair, designed both to raise our profile and to secure new
students to fulfil SRB funding requirements in Camden.
