Week Commencing 10th March
The key event this week was the latest tutor seminar which turned out to be our largest yet. It was very pleasing to see recently recruited tutors present and as ever it provided an excellent forum for ideas and discussion. The notes will be available shortly.Cliff Docherty had a further meeting with Westminster Youth Service with whom he is developing AQA Award Units covering the basic internet skills taught by U Can Do I.T. The email and and web modules have been completed and are awaiting validation, while the chatroom and newsgroup modules have been outlined in preparation for the final documents.
On the publicity front, an article about U Can Do I.T appeared in Paddington People, while a quarter page advertisement was published in Camden New Journal generating new enquiries.
