There was a lot of activity on the promotional front, with press releases issued to some 35 local newspapers on the theme that I T and I T learning is accessible to people with disabilities, and that we can provide that tuition.There were also some preliminary discussions with BBC LDN Radio with a view to a slot on one of their shows. The research team requested some more information and this will be followed up over the next week or so.
Requests for leaflets have been coming in thick and fast from a variety of sources, and orders for approximately 800 were dispatched on Thursday together with factsheets, posters and so on.
Applications for tuition continue to come in steadily, but the coming weeks will see a lot more activity on the development front, with time spent on securing mailings and poster displays. One key area for us is to get our information into doctor’s surgeries and out to patients.
