A meeting was held with Patrick Smith from North Kensington Jobcentre Plus to discuss doing some business with them, and what we have available in the way of free computers for job seekers. Patrick will also oversee our application for Two Ticks accreditation, which relates to being a disability friendly organisation.
We met the Stroke Association in the guise of Sandra Field and Florence Benjamin, and agreed a trial of our training, to see whether any changes to our curriculum might be needed for the various groups who are affected differently following a stroke. We were also invited to attend their national conference, participating with a stand and demonstration in November.
