August 2003 saw the start of a new advertising campaign by U Can Do I.T. to recruit more Learners for us to train. A year long deal with Transport for London, will see four quarterly advertisements for the remainder of 2003, and into the first half of 2004. TfL as its familiarly called is a very useful to us, as it has a print run of 110,000, and a readership of probably four times this figure, and what is more the publication specifically targets disabled people living in London.A new design has also been commissioned using one of London"s top Ad Agencies - Leo Burnett - who have come up with a simple but effective design, using the word ENABLED, and a pictogram of a computer linked with a disabled persons advice design. It seems to be working too, with nearly 100 people recruited so far.
