In the August report we promised more news on The Big Lottery Fund - great news BLF have agreed to fund recycled computers and training for 50 people per year for 3 years in West London. This is our first ever funding from BLF, and is part of a wider strategy to link the provision of computers with our training.In fact the final piece of this jigsaw was completed with Bridge House Trust agreeing to do a similar project in East London. So a big thank you to both organisations.
We have also cleared the first hurdle with Futurebuilders, with their
agreement that we can proceed to stage 2 (the hard work begins!).
Futurebuilders is part loan, part grant and seeks to help the Voluntary
Sector sell services to Statutory bodies, such as local authorities – so this is possibly a new departure for us
