March/April Newsletter

During March we received our first funds from Learning & Skills Council North and Association of London Government, which certainly helped cash
flow. We also had good, if small, news from Croydon Council that they will fund some of our work in their Borough. Meanwhile a large bid is being prepared for the Big Lottery Fund, which is due to make some major changes at the end of May as to what it funds and how.

We completed an application for the Camelot Foundation in April, which is aimed primarily at younger people, and we will keep you updated on how this goes. London Catalyst, as reported in February, have now agreed to fund some computers and adaptive equipment across the Capital, and as we are frequently asked for both, this is therefore welcome news. The Saddlers" Company (one of the 12 Livery Companies located in the City) visited us – in fact Frances Kelley, who made the assessment is a "Liveryman" working at Buckingham Palace maintaining the saddles and bridles for the horses used for both everyday and special occasions.
