July 2002 Newsletter

In July we took delivery of the charity’s annual report for 2001/2002.  This time round it’s a much enlarged document, with more emphasis on individual learners and the many successful partnerships we’ve forged during the year.  The annual report is a vital fundraising and publicity document, and to ensure we get the most mileage from it we have been extensively researching new contacts.  The result is a database of more than 2000 people and organisations who will be receiving a copy.  In the longer term this database will prove invaluable as we follow up the annual report mailing with more direct contact and establish new partnerships and working agreements.

On the fundraising side we continued our programme of making approaches to trusts and foundations for funding.
