Mary, 69, of Ealing had her first lesson and became the recipient of our 35,000th lesson.
Mary (pictured with her tutor Ramesh) is originally from Northern Ireland and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 20 years ago. She relies on her husband for care as she is unable to walk or perform many tasks on her own.
Mary was told about the UCanDoIT course from one of her friends at a MS Social group and, as she had heard about the Internet, thought she would like to find out more. “I have a new laptop computer presented by my husband. I want to be able to use my computer and the Internet on my own after taking the course, I can do my Internet shopping, banking and also spend few hours of my spare time on the computer to do my work. I have just newly started this course and it is very useful and interesting.”
