Reaching disabled people is often extremely difficult.  There is no easy access.  Fortunately there is an excellent magazine published quarterly by London Transport called "Getting There" which is distributed to 110,000 disabled people in the Greater London area.

Getting There is in fact the back bone of our marketing and advertising campaign. We take a full page advert in every issue and approximately 25% of our students are recruiting through this medium.

The rest of the marketing campaign relies on individual contact.  We need to get in touch with all organisations, charities, computer centres and day centres where disabled people are cared for.   Last year we received referrals from more than 200 organisations.  Each one has to be individually contacted on a regular basis and this is a very important part of the work we do.

We do have publicity material available, including our Annual Report together with a number of posters and leaflets which we would be glad to send to any individuals who would like to help us promote our service.
