 About The Project:

Funding:

The expansion of U Can Do I.T. depends just as much on adequate funding as on the structural organisation of the service. We have received generous donations and support from a number of charitable trusts - all of whom have believed in the project from the start, and a growing number of corporate donors. We would like to thank the following organisations most sincerely for their support over the last 12 months:

The Abbey National Charitable Trust

The Albert Hunt Trust
The Band Trust

Bridge House Estates
Cable & Wireless plc

Coutts
Esmee Fairbairn Charitable Trust

The Freemasons Grand Charity
Henry Smith's Charity

Ian Karten Charitable Trust
Lambeth Endowed Charities

Lazard Charitable Trust
Lionel Wigram Memorial Trust

RBC Dominion Securities Inc
Robert Hiscox Foundation

Sobell Foundation

We have also had support from Westminster City Council and Kensington & Chelsea Council in respect of projects in their areas. This is something we aim to build upon and emulate in other London boroughs, and is something we are actively developing.

In addition to the above, we have established a strategic partnership with the Central London Learning and Skills Council, with whom we had a pilot project to teach 20 students in Lambeth.  We have since been awarded a two year grant to teach 100 students across all 6 central London boroughs.

 Donations:
