“I have asthma, am visually impaired and have some mobility problems. I didn’t know a thing about computers or the Internet before I started the UCanDoIT course. Just the fact that I can use the computer I am so glad that I completed the course and am excited about what else I can learn.
I am so grateful for this opportunity and especially to my tutor, who was an excellent and very thorough tutor. I lost 2 lessons due to technical problems with my Internet service provider, which my tutor helped to fix. UCanDoIT very kindly gave me 2 extra lessons to make up for it.
I am now in touch with family members who live abroad through email, which I didn’t do before. I have learnt that I can research almost anything from finding people to travel information online. UCanDoIT are giving me a refresher lesson and I am looking forward to learning how to do my shopping online I was so glad that this tuition was available at home for me.
This was invaluable to me as I don’t get out and about as much now so using a computer and the Internet in my own home has improved my quality of life so much.”
