UCanDoIT is based in London. The members of staff at the Head Office are:
Lisa Oram - Administration Manager
Lisa has been with the charity since 2002. Her role includes allocating learners to tutors and ensuring that they have the necessary skills. She also checks and maintains funding allocations against learner details as much of our funding is area or disability specific - these figures are collated and provided for the accounts. Lisa also deals with the recruitment of tutors, including testing their computers skills and checking references and arranging CRB checks. Her role also includes monitoring lesson reports and maintaining contracts such as Transistion to Work and liaising with partners and external agencies.She also oversees the administration for the office and all the charity's many freelance workers.
Patricia Webb - Development Manager & Part time Fundraiser
Patricia has been with the charity since the beginning and still continues as a tutor. She is part of the fundraising team as both Fundraiser and Development Manager where her role includes raising money from Grant Making Trusts and building strategies for developing UCanDoIT outside London. As a specialist in software for the visually impaired she also undertakes a large percentage of our in-house training of tutors.
Georgina Simpson - Administrator/PA to CEO
Her main roles in the office include managing the charity’s financial administration as well as the administration of the fundraising and admin department.
Hong-Le Vong - Administrator
Hong-Le has been with the charity since 2007. Her role entails answering telephone enquiries, sending and processing application forms, dealing with tutor invoices and ensuring that payment is made promptly. Hong-Le liaises with graduates, organises refresher lessons and keeps the learner database up-to-date. She also carries out a number of administration duties.
